I have been employed at Kansas State University since 1989 as an Extension Machinery Specialist. I became involved in precision agriculture activities in 1996. Since then, I have explored methods of using yield monitor data, extracting machinery management information from GPS data, and testing GPS receivers. "With a limited number of farmers and ag business leaders adopting new ag technology, having open discussions about implementing this technology into farms and businesses is challenging. Participation in KARA offers the unique opportunity to interact with people who are advancing the state of ag technology." |
